《The Railway" 11th Five-Year"Plan》explicitly pointed out: " in the "11th Five-Year Plan "period, the railway sector will build II line of 8000 km, the existing line electrification alteration of 15000 km, the existing line rebuild project will increase year by year. It is obvious that, the design of the existing line rebuild will become the important work of all railway design units in the next few years.That plane reconstruction design of existing railway line is the major and difficult issues. It's the sticking point that how to make use of advanced scientific and technological means and methods for the rapid design of high-quality programmes on the plane reconstruction project. However,aims at the problem, at home and abroad, no mature theory and methods to guide the design. Based on the discussion and analysis of domestic and international research data, this paper carries through in-depth study, aims at two basic questions of the existing line reconstruction: Reconstruction and modification of the existing lines. the mainly contents and results are as follows:1. In the plane reconstruction design research of the existing lines:1) Make integrated use of the basic principles of deflection-method and coordinate-method to achieve automatic optimization computation of single and compound curves.2) Applied "Powell Algorithm" to achieve the automatic matching of the field measured curve and inside alignment.3) It constructs plane reconstruction linear model of the existing railway baseline and II line, achieves the existing railway baseline and II line plane's automatic or interactive reconstruction design.2.In the plane rebuild design research of the existing lines:1) It puts forward the "rebuild model method", divided the existing line rebuide into eight types. Based on the idea of II line design construct linear model which is suited to the existing railway line plane rebuide, auxiliary complete the plane rebuide design, and automatically estimate the scope of rebuide.2) It puts forward "two-step alignment model method", extends the non-alignment design mode, achieves the flexible design of complexlinear.3.The entity of the existing railway line plane and alteration lines was customized by the technology of defining entity. Benefit from this kind of technology, graphics and data can be driven by each other. The designers can modify graphics by setting data, alternatively, they can also operate graphics by grip points of entity, then, graphics change data. Applying the entity in railway design will promote good interaction performance of CAD system.For these theories and methods,the authors use Visual C++.net2002 and ObjectARX2006 prepared a plane into the existing line CAD module, has become a CAD system into the existing line in an important part.
