The study of this paper belongs to the basically applied types.Theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experimental study are adopted in this paper. The relation between forward charge structural parameters of tandem armor demolition and follow-inlaying warhead and the bore diameter,and that between the bore diameter and projectile caliber of the insert fuselage is analysed. The embedment characteristics of the insert fuselage is specially studied .And insert fuselage overload in the process of follow-inlaying and its characteristics of embedded state are analysed . The major study context in this text includes those:(1) The relation between the the forward charge diameter ,cavity liner thickness, length-diameter ratio, curvature radius and the bore diameter is studied . The relation between the bore diameter and the projectile caliber is analysed to ensure that the insert fuselage is reliably embedded into the steel plate with hole.The insert fuselage at speed of 200~400m/s is reliably embendded into the steel plate with hole whos bore diameter is 25mm-22mm and 24mm-18mm.(2) The influence of many factors including velocity and mass of the insert fuselage, nutation angles and target material on the overload of the inert fuselage is studied. The results show that the overload augments with the velocity,and decreases with the increase of the mass.And the bigger the nutation angles,the larger the overload.(3) The mechanism of the insert fuselage that is vertically embedded into the steel plate with hole is studied.Based on experimental study and numerical simulation, the relation between velocity and embedded depth has been obtained .And overload of the insert fuselage is analysed.Embedded depth and overload of the insert fuselage augment with the velocity's increment.(4) The mechanism of the insert fuselage that is aslant embedded into the steel plate with hole is studied.Based on numerical simulation and experimetal study, the process of the insert fuselage aslant inlaying into steel plate(60mm/20o,60mm/24°) with hole and the influence of different angle of attack on embedded state and overload is analysed.The bigger angle of attack,the larger the overload ,the larger the influence of velocity on the overload.
