The gyro stabilized platform has been used widely in the military area and civil area such as air survey,reconnaissance,fire protection,surveillance and control of environment etc.The stable platform can isolate the aircraft vibration, and ensure the quality of shooting. Gyro-stabilized platform is to achieve two main functions, including maintaining the stability of the line of sight (LOS) to inertial space and tracking the designated flight path regularly. The principal contents of this thesis are summed as follows:1) The control structure of servo system is chose according to the actual situation: In the stabile loop, the double rate-loop cascade control structure is used according to the different position of disturbances which breathe into system; In the tracking loop, in order to constitute the position loop, the gradienter is used as position sensor.2) To achieve the LOS stabilization index, an integrative correction in stability loop is used on the basis of modeling for the servo drive, and the test shows that the correction results are satisfiable.3) Considering the shortcoming of traditional PID, an intelligent PID controller which combines the intelligent control algorithms and traditional PID algorithms is introduced.Traditional PID and intelligent PID are used separately to simulate the system. The results show that the good performance can be reachieved when intelligent PID controller is applied in tracking circuit.4) Based on digital servo system, a hardware system based on DSP is designed to satisfy the performance of control ability.
