Compared with other weapon systems, rocket weapon with heavy firepower, long range and other features has been weapon equipment various countries compete for developing. But the rocket exhaust flow has great impact on rocket launchers, the firing stability of rocket launchers and the strength of parts will be affected. Therefore, researching on the rocket exhaust flow is essential. Fiber-optic pressure sensor can modify the classical electrical measurement's defects and limitations and have its good attributes. According to the needs of the multi-sensor of rocket exhaust flow pressure measurement, studying on winding fiber-optic pressure sensor has good value and prospects.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the rocket weapons test system, a new winding fiber-optic pressure sensing technique based on OTDR is presented. The mainly research consents of the paper are as follows: We analyze the fiber's loss of the winding fiber-optic pressure sensor-based system in theory, focusing on the impact of the pressure to macro-bending loss of fiber-optic and thin-walled deformation; The relationship of force, deformation and macro-bending loss of fiber-optic has been deduced in theory when fiber-optic wound on thin-walled under external pressure. The relationship curve of pressure and the macro-bending loss has been drew; We design a spiral winding fiber-optic pressure sensing probe and introduce the structure of the parts of sensor probe's; Based on a spiral winding program, a distributed fiber-optic pressure sensor system has been designed, and the stability of circuit for analysis has been done.Research results show that the fiber-optic pressure sensing system has a good anti-interference capability and will have a broad application prospect in the measurements of rocket exhaust flow.
