| With the rapid advances in the optic-electric technology, a large amount of progress has been made upon wireless optic communication technique. Recently, retro-modulating optic communication technology has been widely studied as a new type of the wireless optic communication owing to its advantages of strong direction, quick response, simple structure and wide view field angle. Optic retro-modulator(ORM) is the key part to retro-modulating wireless optic communication, cat's eye structure ORM(CORM) is becoming the hot topic because of the relatively smaller modulator size and the wider view field angle and CORM is studied in this dissertation.Firstly, the working principle of CORM is introduced, two kinds of CORM are proposed and the possibility of these two kinds of CORM is analyzed.Secondly, the separated type of CORM is further studied. The difference between the reflect wave power (RWP) and the focus-deviations in the front focus-deviating system and the behind one is found through theoretical analysis of RWP in laser irradiation of cat's eye target. With the help of Matlab, a numerical simulation is made. The result shows that RWP will greatly decrease in the behind deviating focus system. On the other hand, RWP is relatively slowly decreased except a short region in the front deviating focus system. Therefore, it is possible to employ those decreasing curves to the laser communication.Thirdly, the wide view field angle CORM are designed. The structure of optical system is optimized and analyzed with an optical design software, 20 degree view field angle cat's eye optic reflector has been designed by using the infrared optical material, four pieces of sphere glass which are made in China and one reflected arc .Finally, two experiment systems have been proposed according to the laboratory condition, in which the focus-deviating system is used. In the static experiment, when reflecting surface moves from the head to the end at the angle of incidence of 3 degree, the different decreasing rates of the front and behind focus-deviating cases are obviously shown as theory analysis. In the communication experiment the reflecting surface is drived by a speaker, the sound transfer is realized in a 55m distance. |
