With the development of modern communication and radar technologies, the quality of high stability sine frequency source becomes one of the key parts which affects system performance, consequently, developing high stability crystal oscillator and improving phase noise index is an urgent task .In addition, as frequency synthesis technique has developed greatly, the frequency synthesizer which utilizes high stability crystal oscillator as the reference signal, and outputs wideband, small frequency resolution, low phase noise, low spurs signals do has a good prospect.The main goal of this paper is to research and develop the 100MHz high stability, oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO), and small frequency resolution microwave frequency synthesizer in S band.The paper is concentrated on:1. Theoretically, phase noise, oscillator circuits are analyzed.2. Explained the design of these key parts of OCXO.3. Developed a 100MHz high stability OCXO, which achieves -150dBc/Hz@1KHz, frequency tempreture stability :±0.5ppm(-55℃--+85℃)4. Theoretically, the design methods of DDS and Phase Locked Loop frequency synthesizer are discussed.5. Utilizing high stability crystal oscillator as the reference signal and hybrid frequency synthesis theory, a frequency source, which output frequency is 2.5-2.7GHz, frequency resolution is 10Hz is developed.6. Analyzed the design of each part of the frequency source circuit, including DDS, PLL, VCO and Control circuits.
