The engine is the heart of the aero-plane, and the source power of the development of the whole aviation industry. Along with the raising index of the Aero-engine military tactics technique, the function and capabilities of Aero-engine control and fuel system need to put forward higher strict request. As a result of hardware-in-loop simulation technology good controllability and security, and has the climatic environment no limit, can be many times repeat and so on characteristics, therefore, it has become a important experimental methods and the technical tool for the aircraft engine numerical control system in the pre-research, demonstration or remodel, Manufacture design and maintenance. Hardware-in-loop simulation technology can effectively reduce development cycle of the engine control system, and greatly reduce the cost of research.In this article, we take the variable cycle engine as control object, half physical simulation as the research tool to build the half physics simulation test-bed. The simulation test-bed mainly includes five parts: real-time engine model, throttle, state switches, I/O interface box and digital electric engine controller. A component-level detailed aero-thermodynamic model is used to enhance high fidelity. The engine model changes the signals with the digital electric engine controller through USB bus. This article has studied the control software development of the electronic engine controller, and the communications interface between the model engine and the electronic engine controller, has designed many control loops, has completed the establishment of the entire test-bed, and integrated debugging. In both acceleration operating mode and the deceleration operating mode simulation test, the engine parameters controlled well, the rationality and the accuracy of the test-bed design has Confirmed. Through half physics simulation experiment, we can earlier find the defects in the system, and provide a good basis for the design and improvement of the variable cycle engine.The variable cycle engine digital control system belongs to the new researchdirection. Based on this background, we design the half physics simulation platform for the variable-cycle engine. Through hardware in loop simulation experiment, we can earlier find the defects in the system design to determine the best design project, and greatly reduce the risk in the test and reduce the test cost.
