As a new type of low-head dam structure,the rubber dam's height can modulate to adapt to the top of the dam overflow,low cost,material savings,environmental protection and short construction period,all these advantages of this simple structure determine it was widely spread.In the stage of domestic designing,we have always used the traditional methods in rubber dam engineering designs . With the development of rubber dam gradually from low height and narrow span to high and large-span,we have to complete the changes of the design process from rough estimate to precision analysis, and also improve the dam design quality, reduce development costs and shorten the exploiting cycles.These initiatives are good to strengthen the competitiveness of enterprise and quicken the development of our country's rubber dam industry.From the application of rubber dam,this article uses the modern design methods CAE to make the preliminary research of static strength and dynamic characteristic.The specific research include:1.The analysis and design of plastic dams.On the basis of two fundamental assumptions:The plane strain and the film internal force,this paper firstly states the dams bag pulling force principle at different working circumstances.Then, according to the geometrical properties of plastic dams, the curve equations of the cutting face are successively derived out,and the curve shape are also fitted.All the above work is prepared for the creating CAE modeling and analysis of loading calculation of the dams.2.The finite element analysis of plastic dams filled up with water.On the basis of rubber dam materials and structure load bearing characteristics , using Mooney-Rivlin material models and membrane structure finite element method, this article finishes the finite element analysis of rubber dam structure, and makes research on the dam structure design programme.3.Rubber dam fluid-structure interaction modal analysis.Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS and fluid-coupling theory, this article will do the sloping wall rubber dam vibration modal analysis of the testing model,at the same time, will also do the dynamic characteristics of rubber dam.All these work will provide a theoretical basis for the project design and construction of the dam.4.Rubber dam wind load distribution and response analysis.In the analysis process,this article will simplify the dam wind load problems.Without taking into account the local dam deformation of membrane element, it will derives the rule of the dam surface wind load the dam surface wind load.As a result,using the element analysis software, it analyzes the dam's respond to wind load.Through the above rubber dam research on the technical analysis,it will continuously improve the design theory and methods of the rubber dam.
