| When the power system faults, faults data analysis and position quickly and precisely can cut the time of faults handle largely. And it can save people and costs, also save the loss caused by faults. Today, Chinese power system is quickly developing towards higher parameter, greater capacity and ultra high voltage, interconnection of 500kV power networks has now been built up and became main frame of our power grid. This article discussed new MIS of relay and faults based on today power system.First, this paper discusses the application of SCADA in 500kV power networks in Shandong. Then, by analyzing the history and phases of MIS of relay and faults, it points out the feasibility and necessity of research and development of the MIS. The paper points out the total requirement, goal, foundation and key technology index of design. The paper statements the hardware and software design of the system, analyses the scheme from the structure, model, communication and arrangement. As the same time, the paper points out the management and arrangement of the MIS resource. It also analyses the application, prospect and benefit of the relay and faults of MIS.It's proved that the relay and faults MIS have been mature by design above. Its benefits are very marked and deserved popularized. |
