For marine container transport has becoming the main way of globalization logistics, the quayside container crane that is the most pivotal machine on the port has played a more and more important role in marine container transportation. So, the monitoring and assessment about the crane's safe and operation has been paid lots of attention. According to above situation, this thesis will research on the trolley track of the cranes, and present the statistical analysis technology and classifying methods about the trolley tracks of the cranes' characteristic parameter. The abnormal data inspecting ability and diagnostic accuracy are raised.This thesis has researched on traditional theories, and then quest for new theories and methods. At last, the thesis presents applied methods what have practicality and has gotten some outcome. The thesis uses main theories and methods like these: wavelet packet decomposition and its statistic dealing with the trolley track of quayside container crane and status classification of trolley track joints based on normal distribution. The work is as follows:1. According to the research of this thesis on the trolley tracks' present data, the wavelet packet decomposition method shows its unique effect in processing the vibration signal from trolley track. This method selects two parameters, energy and variance, as the characteristic parameter of trolley track, and successfully in extracts the feature frequency belt of trolley track vibration. Furthermore, this technology is applied to practical engineering programs and has good veracity and reliability.2. According to the research of this thesis on the trolley tracks' present data, the status classification of trolley track with normal distribution is presented. This method divides trolley tracks' situations into five parts and perfects the classifying method of trolley tracks' mechanical situation. The statistical characteristic criterion is validated by the maximum entropy theory. This technology is applied to practical engineering programs and can help people to diagnose the present situation of trolley track faster and more exactly.The metadata in this thesis comes from Shanghai East Container Terminal Co. Ltd. We collect the data though the Net crane monitoring and assessment system (NetCMAS) invented by the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Maritime University and then make some processing.In a word, through monitoring and researching on the mechanical vibration of trolley tracks of quayside container cranes of Shanghai East Container Terminal Co. Ltd, this thesis presents some practical theories and methods, applies some existed theories in new practice and solves some problems on monitoring. The thesis not only has some innovation on applying theory but also has value in engineering assessment and analysis. As a valuable and practical way for on-condition maintenance, it will offer the results of running situation analysis more timely and exactly, and will keep the machine running better.
