Soft Kill Ammunition To Use Natural Stimulate Pharmaceutical Preparation

This thesis deals with synthesis of medicament of soft kill ammunition. Chili andmustard plaster were chosen as raw materials. The extracted substance(capsicum oil,capsaicin and mustard oil) and ultra-fine capsicum powder were used as main irritant of themedicament of soft kill ammunition. Attapulgite, silicon dioxide and active carbon werechosen as carrier, and MN, MB were chosen as stabilizer. From comparison of propertiesof each components and static explode and spray experiment, best formulation design ofmedicament was found.Capsaicin was extracted form chili immersed in organic solvent. Through one-wayorthogonal experiment, the optimum extraction condition was obtained. The extract waspurified by Silica gel column chromatography. At last the light-yellow crystal was gottenby crystallization. GC/MS characterization showed that the main component of the crystalwas capsaicin. UV spectrum indicated that the content of capsaicin was about 71%.Mustard oil was extracted via distillation from mustard plaster in vapor. Throughone-way orthogonal experiment, the optimum extraction condition was obtained. GC/MScharacterization showed that the main component of the extract was ally isothiocyanate,the content of which was about 64% indicated from UV spectrum.Formulation, processing, and properties study of the natural irritant were alsoevolved in this thesis. The formulation of the medicament was as follows: (1) capsicumpowder 80%, carrier 19%, and stabilizer 1%; (2) capsaicin 10%, mustard oil 40%, carrier49%, and stabilizer 1%. Static explode and spray experiment showed that the medicamenthad good irritation, suspension, and dispersion. After operation of the ammunition, smallanimals could weep, sneezes, and there was even foam at their mouth.. And small animalscan repristinate after cleaning and a period of rest.The soft kill ammunition studied in our project had many advantages, such as facileraw materials, no side effect, strong tear irritability and strong irritate effect. It can satisfythe requirement of blastproof weapon.
