| In this paper, the demand background, target defence features, the ammunition scheme and the structure technology have been studied systematically. The American "Tomahawk"cruise missile is considered as the main terminal antimissile target, and its characteristics and target defense features are analyzed, and then the damage mode of small arms ammunition against the warhead of the cruise missile is discussed. Aiming at the problems of lacking of firing-range and its power of small arms, the antimissile range of small arms and the rough specifications of the ammunition are presented according to the 25mm antimissile ammunition's specifications. The general design scheme has been fisnished and optimized, and the diameter of the ammunition is confirmed. The structural data of the ballistic weapon, the cartridge case and the bullet has been designed, the correspomding computational programmes have been worked out. The structure characteristics quantities, the ballistic performance parameters of the designed ammunition have been computed in detail. The blast strength of the ammunition, the reliability of the bullet core's spinning and the sabot's discarding, the flight stability etc. have been validated. It has been indicated theoretically that the designed antimissile small arms' ammunition could meet the demands of terminal antimissile between 1200 and 1500m. |
