Rotary Power Generation Storage Technology Exploratory Research

With the development of intelligent and smart munitions, the demand of anti-highoverloading, transient high power, ten-year's storage or longer and miniaturization poweron munitions is extremely urgent. The physics power not only has nondestructive testingand reusable characters but also has advantage in long storage and using of high and lowtemperature. And because of the use of the high quality permanent magnetic materials, more and more military experts in the world pay attention to the micro physics power onmunitions.Based on the flight characteristic of projectile-and the-relative-rotation principle ofparts of projectile, a kind of completely sealed rotary power plant is-suggested. This plantmakes use of rotary environmental force to generate electricity. The permanent magnetic isserved as magnetic potential source in this plant. The rolling bearings are placed betweenstator and rotor, so the stator and rotor can relatively rotary. Without other auxiliary powers, this plant is able to generate electricity by making use of rotation of projectile. The voltagegenerated by this plant supplies energy for the load via commutating, filtering andvoltage-stabilizing.Considering the structure of the power plant, based on the equivalent magnetic circuitprinciple, mathematical model is build to analyze the magnetic circuit of this plant. Thentheoretical calculation and ANSYS finite element analysis are compared. In the part ofANSYS finite element analysis, command mode simulation computation is made by usingthe APDL of ANSYS. Thus, it makes easy to modify structural parameter and improvescomputing speed. And in the part of the analysis of result, many simulation results areproposed with different structural parameters. Comparison and analyse are made in termsof simulation results, some rules of the influence of main structural parameter on magneticflux in tooth areput forward.The rotary power plant is suggested in this paper provides a new means for power onmunitions. This plant has many characters such as self-generating electric, miniaturizing, long-term storage. Thus it is able to match the power on munitions demand.
