With the rapid development of domestic power system,the capabilityrequirement for power system automation device becomes higher andhigher.Designing power system automation devices with high stability,high reliability and high security has important research significance andengineering value to power industry and power system automation devicemanufacturer.the power system automation device hardware can only be used forsome specific devices.And traditional flow chart linearity programme isadopted in most power system automation device at present,which makessome problems such as hard maintenance,hard upgrade and etc.so thispaper brings up the design project of software and hardware for the powersystem automation general platform based on the Embedde RTOS.At the design of hardware, based on the basic Survey,protection,control,man-machine interaction and communication function of powersystem automation device,the hardware module design project isproposed in this paper.Center processor module,AC input module,discrete input/output module,man-machine interface module,communication module and power supply module is included in thesehardware modules.For specific automation device hardware design,theonly things is to choose different hardware modules combination.At the design of software,four kinds of Embedde RTOS is firstlycompared.And considered on the real-time capability requirement and theresearch expenditure,μC/OS-Ⅱis chosen as this paper's RTOS. therealization methods of portingμC/OS-Ⅱto TMS320LF2407A isdiscussed in detail.Then, this paper presents the features and kernelstructure ofμC/OS-Ⅱand the general process for the design of softwarebased on the Embedde RTOS.Based on the general process,the designproject of the general soft-ware platform task's partition,scheduling andcommunication is presented. The design thought,design block diagramand design realization of regular task based on Embedde building blocksare also discussed in detail.In the end,this paper gives a example in which the general platform design project is used in line computer-based protection relay.
