In recent years, the application of the composite mortar strengthening & repairing concrete technology is more and more abroad in the strengthening construction. The key technology and the basic theory are the problems of bond properties of composite mortar to concrete interface. With plenty of experiments, the effect of various factors on the interfacial bond constitutive relationship is studied in this paper.Firstly, the paper designed a serial of Z shape composite mortar to concrete bond specimens. The main parameters are interfacial roughness, the ratio for strength of composite mortar and concrete, and pouring method . By shearing test, the influencing regulations of different factors on composite mortar to concrete bond shear property are obtained, and the distinctive variance analysis on the three factors was presented. The regression formula for the interfacial shear strength between composite mortar and concrete is fitted out, which affected with interfacial roughness and the ratio for strength of composite mortar and concrete.Secondly, the composite mortar-to-concrete interfacial shear stress-slip relation curves were obtained from the test. And the calculating formula of characteristic slip and bond strength was conducted by statistical regression of bond-slip relation curves.Thirdly, the influence of the factors such as interfacial roughness, the ratio between the strength of composite mortar and concrete, and pouring method, on bond-slip property was analyzed. By corrected the shape of bond-slip curves through "merge to one", the formula of bond-slip constitutive relationship was confirmed. Finally, the concept of bond degree has been proposed. Based on ANSYS, the three-dimensional and nonlinear finite element analysis was made for reinforced concrete beam strengthened with composite mortar in different bond degree. Then the effect of bond and slip on strengthened beam including bearing capacity, deformation and crack are revealed.
