With the development of construction techniques, more and more equipments were used in the building . The influence of equipments to the structure is become more important. According to the pipes diversity fuction, In the process of piping installation, there are two forms of the pipeline crossing-over the strcture, the level and the vertical. Many pipeline need across the concrete structural member, among which, electric pipeline that across the frame structural beam occupy a high extend. In the real engineering, many perpendicular holes need to be taken on concrete beam, the influence of these perpendicular holes on the beams' capacity is lack of research.To find the relation between perpendicular holes and the capacity of concrete beams, eight beams were designed and tested, through the test data, the influence of position and size of perpendicular holes to the crack,deformation and bending moment capacity of concrete beams is analysis, and some valuable conclusion is gained. Based on the theory analysis, the calculating method is of perpendicular holes concrete beams is established . the main content is as follow:1. The research situations of the concrete beam that with holes is summarized, based on the problems existed in the real engineering, the main research content and method is given.2. Through the structural test, the influence of position and size of perpendicular holes to the bending moment capacity of concrete beams is analysis. The size of the perpendicular hole has more influence to the bending moment capacity than that of the position.3. Through the test result analysis, the characters of deformation, stress, strain and crack of the beam under different kind of holes conditions are searched, and influence of size and position of holes to the structural deformation is analysis, the relation is given.4. Accoeding to the current theory of calculation of reinforced concrete strcture, the calculating method of perpendicular holes to the bending moment capacity of concrete beams is researched.
