With economical construction and social development in our country, the exploitation and utilization of urban underground space has been more and more paid attention, and accordingly the research and practice of deep foundation pit retaining engineering technology was developed at an unprecedented rate. composite soil nailing technology ,the most widely applied supporting form among middling-small foundation pit. Which retained the advantage of soil nailing retaining technology and repaired many technical disfigurements and applied restrictions in soil nailing retaining technology, has been being widely applied. But the influence factors to force bearing and deformation are very numerous and complicated in excavation and construction process, especially how harmonious works did among the supporting elements is not completely clear completely , lacked of necessary analysis method and integrated theory. so, the deep expansion of systemic theory and applied technical research are necessaryIn this paper, the author summarizes: (a)some research findings in respect of support forms, constitution methods and applied conditions of composite soil nailing, (b)through the analyses to the working mechanisms of composite soil nailing, several calculating mode of stabilization analysis to familiar of composite soil nailing are provided .especially ,A systemic research of the global stability analysis method , strength design computing method and a check method to whole stability to CRCSPSN were carried out .(c) general applied principles , design and construction technique requirement were provided linked to numerical combined with engineering practice of CRCSPSN and the contrast analysis to testing results of construction course.CRCSPSN is a composite supporting technique ,which combined active support and passive support , as well as flexible support and rigid support . The work mechanism of CRCSPSN summarizes sharing in loading ,waterproofing and resisting penetration , mediating deformation mode, local stabilization, foreordaining reinforce and so on. Engineering practice of CRCSPSN indicates: theoretics Analysis ,dynamic design and information design should be paid attention during the design and construction of CRCSPSN .
