| Data processing and communication module is an important part of MWHS system on FY-3. It not only collects and processes the signal from receivers, but also controls the system's status on the basis of the processed result. The main work of this paper is to realize the processing and controlling functions by FPGA. Comparing with separate elements, FPGA has several merits. It can improve the system performances including reliability and security. Moreover, it can make the system smaller. The details are as following:1: Demonstrate the working mechanism of MWHS and introduce the main elements and functions of it briely.2: Introduce the communication protocol of 1553B and analyze the communication principle of BU-65170.3: Describe the elements and functions of data processing and controlling module in MWHS. Meanwhile, use FPGA to process data and response controlling instructions from ground and analyze the working mechanisms.4: In this paper, the design platform is XILINX ISE design tool and the developing language is Verilog. According to the results of Timing Simulation and RTL Simulation by ModelSim, it can come to a conclusion that the system meets with the demands.5: Design the FPGA chip selected to implement the functions asked. Then, test the logic timing by CHIPSCOPE. The results show that the design is qualified. Moreover, using FPGA to replace separate elements makes the circuit structure optimized. |
