Today diesel engines are widely used in industry. But with the enhancement of environmental protection consciousness in the world, the problem of vibration and noise of the diesel engine is engine is deeply concerned. Low and high intension design has become one of the developing tendencies of the diesel engine design. With the development of science and technology, the diesel engine design not only in theory but also in application changes greatly. Computers and Finite Element Method(FEM) technique have been used more and more popular, which made the research of the parts of the diesel engine into a new developing period.The achievements of former researcher in noise and vibration control of engine are reviewed firstly, which make the key problems clearer. First, 3-D model based on the 2-D drawing of the diesel engine is established by software of Pro\E, and then the FE and experimental model analysis has been implemented. The analysis results indicate that these models are reasonably precise, so they could be the basic models for the following researches. Then the transient analysis of the engine and the assembly parts is calculated based on the original model analysis, and in the course of analysis, various loads are calculated. Finally the weakness of the structure of the diesel engine is found, then proposes the optimized plan and obtains the result through the computationAll kinds of factors being considered, static and dynamic analysis on the diesel engine using FEM method not only can be used to enhance engine design, to improve engine quality, but also can offer valuable data and modernized design experiences for the enterprise. The successful work is also verified the feasibility of virtual designing technique. The hypothesized prototypical design technology implementation may reduce the research and development time, causes the product the renewal speedgreatly for the enhancement. Not only has won the precious time for the enterprise, moreover may cause the enterprise in the competition the unceasing development.
