The trigeneration system of energy island is a mode of energy utilization for distributed energy system. It combines micro gas turbine or steam turbine with exhaust-gas turbo charger, diesel engine, exhaust gas boiler, refrigerator and so on to make a combined cycle system to provide various kinds of energy such as power, heat and cold, etc. This trigeneration system can be applied to the special users such as airport, martial base, remote regions, etc. What's more, the trigeneration system can increase energy efficiency and standard of environmental protection to a new level because of its characteristics of cleanness, high efficiency, high integration and agility.Simulation technology is a very efficient way to study dynamic and static characteristics of energy island system. However, current simulation equipments took basically single unit as simulation object. They focus on the simulation of static operation of actual system and pay less attention to its dynamic transient processes under various working conditions. Therefore, deep studies were carried out with the center of dynamic and static characteristics simulation for the energy island trigeneration system in this paper.At first, static mathematics models of micro gas turbine, exhaust gas boiler and absorbed refrigerator driven by exhaust gas were analyzed in this paper. Performance prediction and operation optimization were done under various working conditions.Based on the analyses of static characteristics, studies on dynamic characteristics were made. Dynamic equations of micro gas turbine with single shaft were solved using an analytical method for the first time. Transient processes of duty step-change for micro gas turbine were analyzed. The effects of the components such as shafting and recuperator on dynamic characteristics of energy island system were carefully analyzed. Methods to optimize the performance and control processes of micro gas turbine were also proposed. Moreover, transient processes of exhaust gas boiler and absorbed refrigerator driven by exhaust gas were also studied here.On the base of the theoretical analyses above, the hybrid-simulation experimental set of energy island trigeneration system was established by the method of hybrid-simulation according to the analogy theory for the first time. Through assigning simulation calculation and digital computation reasonably, the method of hybrid-simulation have both advantages of the two other methods, that is, for simulation calculation, it has high calculation speed and the characteristic of real time, and for digital computation, high accuracy and the ability to deal with complex and nonlinear calculation.
