Contact less support is in the ascendant in navigation and directional fixture on precision. Electrostatic suspended gyroscope (ESG) is recognized as the most accurate gyroscope nowadays. In this paper, a new way of suspend --Ultrasonic-suspended is put forward. Research indicate that the ultrasonic-suspend ability can replacing the static-suspend or magnetic-suspended in the gyroscope, and the technique in manufacture aspect is very easy.Ultrasonic suspended gyroscope is also a free-rotor gyroscope which is similar to ESG It is composed of an ultrasonic saddle,spherical rotor, magnetic field driving and single read device and also. The spherical rotor is suspended by ultrasonic and is circumrotated in very high speed under surrounding magnetic field. Compared with gimbaled gyroscope, ultrasonic suspended gyroscope has such characteristics as follow: It has simple configuration and few disturbing sources. Its supporting point will move following the rotor's line displacement relative to the shell. Compared with ESG, ultrasonic suspended gyroscope has advantages of big suspending power, no electrical beat through, lower machining precision and price.The title of this paper is Research of the Ultrasonic Suspended Gyroscope, we carries out its relative theory and experiment study according to the ultrasonic, vibration and friction theories. According to the huge content, the dissertation consists of several parts, the details as follows:(1) Academic analyze and plentiful experiments are done to design the ultrasonic saddle of ultrasonic suspended gyroscope, power supply of ultrasonic, gyroscope rotor, theory analyze and design have been done in magnetic field circumrotating part and angle acquisition system.
