New High-capacity Air-cooled Turbine Generator Cooling Technology

With the rapid development of our national economy and electrical industry,the market requirement of large air-cooled turbogenerator is increasing continually, and so is the single-unit capacity of air-cooled turbogenerator . The most difficult problem of increasing the single-unit capacity of air-cooled turbogenerator is how to control the temperature rise of winding, reduce all kinds of loss including the ventilation loss and break through the restriction of strength of materials. Therefore, the more effective cooling technology must be adopted to improve the heat-radiate intensity, so that the temperature rise of every part of turbogenerator could be controlled in permitted range and the turbogenerator could run safely . Thus the research on cooling technology of large air-cooled turbogenerator has important realistic and economic significance.Aiming at the above things, the cooling technology of new large-capacity air-cooled turbogenerator is researched deep in this paper by means of combining professional theory with engineering practice .At fist , the present state of development of air-cooled turbogenerator is introduced and the reason is analyzed ,and it is pointed out that there has a wide foreground in our country to develop large air-cooled turbogenerator .Then the importance of cooling technology of large air-cooled turbogenerator is pointed out and the basic principle of it is discussed ,and the main approaches to optimize air-cooled ventilation system are presented .Finally ,combining the WX series new large-capacity air-cooled turbogenerator produced by JPEF(Shandong Jinan Power Equipment Factory) with the technology of ALSTOM Power Corporation ,the developmental process of this series products and those main structural characteristics are introduced ,and the cooling technology adopted in them is researched deep ,the inner air cooling technology of rotor and the new converse ventilation cooling technology are emphatically discussed .By the research of this subject ,the important theoretic bases have been...
