The functionalities of the electronic time controller of fuze, which is taken as research object, are analyzed in this thesis. The results of analysis can be used as the references for type selection, parameter design and product design of the electronic time controller of fuze.Firstly, domestic and international research progress in technology of time controller and its application in electronic time fuze are summarized. Secondly, the function requirements and development trend of the electronic time controller of fuze are briefly analyzed, and the basic work principle and performance of power time controller, timekeeper time controller, electronic time controller and stream time controller are also studied. Moreover, precision analysis on fuze simulate electronic time controller and digital electronic time controller are done theoretically, especially the analysis on the effects of the time circuit of simulate electronic time controller and the different time fiducial oscillator and power of digital electronic time controller. Based on the theoretical analysis, aiming at the situation that currently electronic time fuze adopt integrated chips widely, two simple types of digital electronic time controller, inside-chip oscillator time controller and outside-chip oscillator time controller are designed, which are based on the programmable chip ATmega8515L. Finally, the influence of different time fiducial oscillator to the performance of digital electronic time controller is tested. The results show that in different environment temperature, the performance of the time controller that use outside-chip crystal oscillator as time fiducial oscillator is much better than the performance of the time controller that use inside-chip oscillator of ATmega8515L. According to the results, it is suggested that designers using outside-chip crystal oscillator that correspond to the performance requirement of time controller when the external overload is small.
