High-performance concrete (HPC) exceeds the properties and constructability of normal concrete. Special mixing design, producing technique, and curing conditions are needed to produce and handle high-performance concrete. Extensive performance tests are required to demonstrate compliance with specific project needs. The micro steel fiber high-performance concrete (MSFHPC) is studied experimentally and theoretically in this paper. The main works are as following:1. The production of the micro steel fiber high-performance concrete is achieved based on the principles of HPC composition and the properties of ingredients.2. The effects of the different volume-ratios of the micro steel fiber, including 1%, 2%, 3%, are experimentally observed and analyzed on the compressive strength and bending performances.3. The effects of the different lengths of the micro-steel fiber, including 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, are experimentally observed and analyzed on the compressive strength and bending performances.4. The effects of the heat treatments of MSFHPC are experimentally observed and analyzed on the compressive strength and bending performances.5. The flexural toughness index of MSFHPC samples in the three-point bending test is evaluated. The factors effecting on the flexural toughness index are investigated, including the fiber volume-ratio, the fiber length and the cure condition.6. The experimental P-s curves obtained from the bending tests are illustrated and compared with the theoretical ones from the Leon model and the King model correspondingly.
