The noise produced from power plant of steam with high temperature and pressure was a polluting problem to every plant. It could affect many things like safety and so on. There were many reasons of the noise producing process , at the same time the elements of noise were too many. So it was a complex system project to resolve this noise problem of power plant. Synthesizing control measures could be arising on the basis of understanding the properties of noise. In the process of construction of power plant, the noise of steam blowing was as high as one hundred forty dB(A), the highest was even one hundred sixty dB(A). Because steam blowing was an action before the boiler starts up, it took relative little time (from four to ten days). If there weren' t some special reasons, the construction unit wouldn't think much of the noise control. But the tremendous noise of steam blowing disturbed seriously the people live nearby, it had many disadvantages to their work, living, rest and study, perhaps it could lead some dissension of compensation. With more requests of protecting environment, the work of reducing noise of steam blowing became more and more important. This thesis studied synthesis control to the noise of steam blowing with high temperature and pressure. The author used Phoenics software, confirmed the simulation region, chose the calculation model, input boundary condition, created flowing field simulating curve and at last educed the distribution of velocity field, temperature field and pressure field of high temperature and high pressure steam. By analyzing the curves, there could be a conclusion that if the diameter of the spout was about a few centimeters or tens centimeters, the noise frequency was in the range of people's audition; all the noise would disturb people. But if the spout's diameter was reduced to several millimeters, even smaller, the noise frequency could...
