Relay Protection Setting Calculation Software Core Algorithm Analysis And Research

With the development of power network and computer technology, the software on fault calculation and protection relay setting is required to have better calculation speed, higher calculation efficiency and better-visualized character.A change of operation condition of power system can be viewed as a network operation. First of all, the compensation method is used to stimulate network topology changes resulted by network operations and faults in this paper. And a general simple-fault calculation method allowing for network operations is presented. Secondly, a calculation method for any complex faults allowing for network operation is educed based on simple-fault calculation model here. In addition, against different elements influencing branch coefficient, some accelerated measures are described. Fast method to calculate branch coefficients without fault calculation is presented.The relay setting software developed based on the fault calculation method introduced in this paper is widely used in Shandong, Liaoning and other districts, which confirms the effectivity, the correctness and the practicality of the method presented here.This software was written by the object-oriented language C++, it made full use of these concepts, such as encapsulation, class, inherit, polymorphism, etc. These methods also make the software credibility, conservation and repeat.
