The Automatic Door of Railway Traffic (ADRT) has characters of complex structure, consummate function, and high automatization. It is an important constituent of a train, and its breakdown has very tremendous influence on the normal operation of train. This paper takes ADRT as the research object and studies the intelligent fault diagnosis system from the aspects of system design, knowledge acquisition, and diagnosis reasoning, and the system is developed at last. The main contents of this paper are as following:Firstly, the structure of the Intelligent Fault Diagnosis System is established, and the functional model is introduced in detail.Secondly, it proposes the idea of uniting the design knowledge and the diagnostic knowledge to consummate the diagnosis knowledge automatically by using the analysis sheet of FMEA, which is a reliability analysis method. The product structure tree is used to organize the diagnostic knowledge.Thirdly, based on the causal relation among the FMEA datum, this paper brings forward the method of constructing the Bayesian Networks modal from the data of FMEA table. It adopts the CM structure and constructs the Bayesian Networks model based on TOP-DOWN method. In order to simplify its expression way, the numerical pattern is introduced to describe the network modal.Finally, taking ADRT as the application object, using the integrated inference technology of rule diagnosis and Bayesian Network diagnosis methods, we develop the intelligent fault diagnosis system.
