| The Running Status Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Diesel Engine (RSMFDDE) not only avoids the equipment running accident, increases the economic efficiency, but also greatly reduces the operator and the equipment maintainer's labor intensity. It can provide support for diesel engine maintenance, reduce the cost and simultaneously avoid sudden accident.The fault diagnosis technology is a multi-disciplinary subject that is coming from industry equipment. The development equipment maintenance has experienced run-to-breakdown maintenance, time-base preventive maintenance to predictive maintenance, while the fault diagnosis technology is also developed quickly with it.After FFT appeared in the 20th century 60's, the sensor technology,the signal processing technology, the artificial intelligence technology and so on are applied for the diagnosis, and cause the fault diagnosis technology gradually to consummate, many fault diagnosis methods and equipments are also established with them.In the RSMFDDE system, through analyzing the diesel engine structure and the common fault, this project adopts configuration software and the expert system, carries on the fault diagnosis through measuring the diesel engine cylinder pressure signal directly. By reviewing the diesel engine fault diagnosis research, this paper illustrates the fault mechanism of diesel engine, studies the realization of the RSMFDDE theory method, and establishes the RSMFDDE system.When establishing the RSMFDDE system, this paper takes the diesel engine as the research object, gathers data with PLC, monitors the system running state through monitoring configuration software with the graphic interface window.
