With the development of the power electronic technology and the wide use of power electronic equipments, the power quality is becoming more and more serious, especially the problem of harmonics and reactive power. As a key method to deal with these problems, power quality equipment of dynamic compensation is studied widely. The control of the equipment of power quality dynamic compensation is importent factor that influence the performance of the equipment. Equipment of power quality dynamic compensation control realization can be either digital or analogical. The advantage of digital compensation control (DCC) is that it can compensate harmonics to a precision level and is independent of the surrounding environment. But DCC need high-speed real-time chips to deal with digital signal processing, so it has high price. analog compensation control (ACC) demands hardware very rigidly. The design of the equipment of power quality dynamic compensation is very important to both ACC and DCC.DSP perform fast and accurate calucations, flexible program capability, and abundant peripheral functions, so applications of DSP in equipment of power quality dynamic compensation digital controls will be extensive. This paper presents control strategies based on DSP. And the emphsis of this paper is the structre, control method and the control system based on DSP.The dissertation, researching on three-phase-three-line power-network, based on the theory of digital signal processing, has done the real-time dynamic simulation by using the software of MATLAB, and the result shows that the method of harmonics detecting and the scheme of current controlling and both practicable and effective. Then equipment of power quality dynamic compensation was designed.
