Pneumatic technology is the very important part of industry automation field, and it has a series of excellent features that are concise system, convenient and fast maintain, no contamination, and so on. Pneumatic servo control technology is the combination of pneumatic technology and electronic technology, and it promotes pneumatic technology to develop greatly, become a hotspot in pneumatic field in recent years. However, pneumatic system is aessentially a non-linear system. This immensely limits the development of pneumatic technology. So the research of pneumatic servo speed control is the significant project of pneumatic servo control.The very important elements of pneumatic system, pneumatic servo valve and air cylinder, is deep introduced in this article. The pneumatic servo valve can preferably be choose and used promoting the precision of control system through the analysis and mathematical modeling of pneumatic servo valve. The crawling phenomenon of air cylinder is one of the principal factors of influencing on the precision of speed control system. In this article the crawling mechanism is profoundly probed, the crawling model is established, and various factors of influencing on crawling are also analyzed, and at last the lowest crawling velocity is introduced. The research of air cylinder is the focal point of speed control system, and is vital for the control precision of entire system.The software and hardware system and principle of work of the three-dimensional pneumatic manipulator are also introduced in this article. Meanwhile the software and hardware environments of the experiment system are designed and configured. They are the basis of the experiment of speed control system. The control scheme of pneumatic servo speed control system is established, and the fuzzy control and PID control tactics also are introduced in the control system. Detailed introduction and analysis for fuzzy control and PID control ,the realization and application of fuzzy control and PID control in the speed control system is a certain probed and also Matlab simulation software is used to design fuzzy controller. At last mathematical modeling is established for the entire system, Matlab simulation software is used to simulate. The system having the fuzzy control and PID control isable to enhance the dynamic characteristic and stability precision as compared the system simulation of PID control with the system simulation of PID control of fuzzy gaining, so this can preferably realize the precision of the speed control system. Pneumatic speed control system is a newer research field. The research of pneumatic speed control system is a crucial significance whether in the academic or of the industrial application, so it has a certain project value of practical application.
