This paper searches for a measurement system which detecting high speed of motion object (not higher than 20 kmps). It root in a task from national grope fund. Measurement system of high-speed object plays an important part in the solution of material high-pressure equation of state with absolute method. Especially in the last decades, due to the need of research of inertia restrict fusion, a set of high power laser experiment equipments was established continuously inside and outside the nation. The pressure of the impacted material reaches hundreds of Gpa even to several Tpa. So the only way for solving the material equation of state in high-pressure is absolute method.In this paper, we advance a novel measurement system of high-speed: DVSVI (Double-sensitivities VISAR with Single Velocity Interferometer), which is a kind oi' velocity interferometer in principle. It uses the Doppler effect of ray to gain the speed of motion object. DVSVI bases on the traditional Double-sensitivity VISAR velocity measurement system, and has a lot of improvement comparatively. It uses single velocity interferometer and record system to carry out the VISAR measurement of Double-sensitivity, so that the system would be more compact and lower. It will bring all-important practical significations to this kind of costly velocity measurement system.The first chapter of paper discusses the context, significance and the developing actuality inside and outside the nation of the velocity measurement system. In the second chapter, we will introduce the theory and technology of Doppler velocity measurement related to DVSVI, such as displacement interferometer, velocity interferometer and VISAR technic, which mostly come from "laser interferometry technology" wrote by Shaolou Hu. The third chapter particularly discusses the theory of DVSVI velocity measurement system and the composition of beam path, and then analyzes the performance of the system, math model of data process and theory of streak camera in record system. We analyze the errors of the DVSVI system, which resource from the detecting light source, etalon, lens surface, signal collection and procession in the forth chapter. The fifth chapter attempt to design a set of DVSVI velocity measurement equipment, based on the designated capability index, which ascertain the parameters of parts of the apparatus. It contains choosing and confirming the parameters of laser, etalon, each lens and record system. The sixth chapter recommends a suit of software developed in matlab. It mainly contains two functions. On one hand, it help us to choose various parameters in the process of designing the DVSVI, such as choosing the parameters of velocity sensitivity, time resolution of record system, and the exactness of the data processing model, analyzing the theory error. The last chapter analysis some experiments data.
