Aim at the disadvantage of testing method for soil resilient modulus and the problem about the selecting of modulus for design, this paper contrastively analyses the different testing methods, and mainly researches and mends the testing method of loading plate on spot. At the same time, it tests and investigates the design parameters of subgfade about representative sections in Northeast, North of china, Northwest, and brings forward the recommended soil resilient moduli of SanBei region. This paper researches the different testing methods of soil resilient modulus, and primarily evaluates their merits and shortcomings, applicable area and mend measure. It finds the correlativity among different results by the contrastive tests among different testing methods in diverse regions. Base on the calculation of stress and displacement, this paper brings forward the ranges of soil stress and displacement under flexible road surface of different grade highways in our country. According to these ranges and the testing program, it brings forward the load standard of loading plate on spot for different grade roads and the reformative testing process. This paper contrastively analyses the difference between light-duty and heavy-duty standards of compaction test and researches their influences to soil resilient modulus, and validates this conclusion by investigating the application of soil resilient moduli in Henan and Shanxi provinces. According to the secondary climatic zoning for highway, this paper carries through the interrelated outdoor and indoor tests and investigations of approximate 20 representative sections of 11 regions in SanBei, and demonstratively brings forward the modificatory recommended soil resilient moduli of SanBei region by integrating the increased degree of soil resilient modulus under the heavy-duty standards of compaction test and contrasting the recommended tabulation of the primary criterion.
