The distribution of the air flow field and temperature field inside the refrigerated container is the key points of container transportation and design , therefore, the simulation and experimental research of the air flow field and temperature field for the refrigerated container of a thermo king refrigerator container is investigated.Simulation method is used to the research of air flow field and temperature field inside the refrigerated container. Besides, the experiment is conducted to obtain the temperature distributions inside the freezing compartment, which provides the initial values needed in numerical calculation and values of typical points to be compared with the computational results. With the aid of computational Fluid Dynamics technique, the k-ε turbulence model is adopted to simulate the three-dimensional static airflow and temperature distribution inside the freezing compartment on the platform of FLUNET, and the reliability of numerical calculation and the model is verified by comparing the simulating results with the measurement results of the temperature of typical points. The influence of the cargo piling style to the air flow field and temperature field inside the refrigerated container is also be concerned. As the result has showed, reasonable cargo piling style is helpful to the balance of the air flow field and temperature field inside the refrigerated container. The conclusions of this thesis have established a foundation for the further research of the flow field and the temperature field in the refrigerated container, and will be a guide to the disposal of the cargo in the refrigerated container.Type of thesis: practical fundament.
