The paper researched the effect of organic additive agent on magnetic properties andmicrostructure of sintered Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet. Through adding organic additiveagent in the process of sintering Nd-Fe-B, it is discovered that organic additive agent couldchange magnetic properties and microstructure of Nd-Fe-B permanent. Adding properamount of organic additive agent could restrain grain growth and make the grain ofsintered magnet small and even and make graining boundary of sintered magnet clear andcontinual. These changes are in favor of obtaining high coercivity magnet. Organicadditive agent could change physical characteristic of magnetic particle's surface andadvance degree of orientation and density of pressing, thereby advance magnetic propertiesof Nd-Fe-B permanent. Superfluous organic additive agent could lead more organicleftover, carbon and oxygen in magnet, and decrease magnetic properties of magnet. In addition, the test discovered out a kind of usable organic additive agent, which isgood at lubricating and could enhance the orientation degree of magnet. But itsshortcoming is bad volatility and longer exhausting time.
