At present, the goal of voltage control is to ensure good voltage level, excellent dynamic voltage quality and voltage stability, economical operation etc. Automatic Voltage Control (AVC) has been born for meeting these requirements.AVC is the advanced type of voltage and reactive power control at present. Based on voltage security, good voltage level, low active power loss, and less cost of operation and maintenance are pursued. But all of these rely on the reactive power optimization.When the reactive power is sufficient, Reactive power optimization can enhance the good ratio of voltage, Reduce active power loss , So ensuring the security and economy. When the reactive power is insufficient, Reactive power optimization can find the frail parts of the network, So instructing the construction of the network and the distribution of the reactive power.The thesis discusses the practicality of reduced grade algorithm and interior point algorithm for reactive power optimization. For reduced grade algorithm, The quadratic interpolation method and trying method are used to search for the optimal step. According to the characteristics of the power system, the initial step is decided. And the relation of punishment factor and step is conformed. The support effect of control Variable is analyzed, and how the algorithm is affected when the control variable is restricted is pointed out and how to deal with it. For interior point algorithm, flat start can be chosen for the starting point, not usingthe power flow result so that all the variables are in their bounds. When the duality gap is negative, to avoid the negativity of barrier parameter, use the complementary gap to approximate the duality gap. |
