In the construction of large water conservancy project, one of the key problems to the success of the whole Project is whether the sluice gate of dam can be Opened or closed well-balanced. The torsional vibration of the headstock gear 's main drive-system will often bring some serious dangers to the operation and the facilities. And the reasons that cause the vibration lie in many fields, such as the structure of the equipment, the performance of the technics and so on. To ensure the safety and credibility of the gate, so it is necessary to do some disquisition on dynamic simulation of the vibration for main the headstock gear 's driving system.The thesis takes headstock gear as a system and analyzes the drive system of headstock gear. The example shows the simplification of the physic model of drive-system and the setting up of the mathematics model, and sets up a mathematics and physic model of seven mass and six freedoms for the headstock gear. Then the model is coped with to be non-dimensioned and set up a simulation model.Based on the analysis of three kinds of different work conditions, (i) the process that gateway still to promote;(ii) the process that gateway arrives the middle height;(iii) the process that gateway is suspended when it arrives the culmination. The paper calculates and analyzes the proper frequency and flexible moment of the torsional vibration of drive-system through the digital simulation based MATLAB. Then the dynamic simulation tool, Simulink, is employed to build respectively the simulation model of each component, also, to mask it and combine them. It builds up the Simulink model frame diagram under three kinds of different work conditions, simulates the model applied four rank Runge—Kutta methods. It simulates the movement of the actual system and the process as the change of time.According to the result of simulation, The thesis gains the TAF (The torque amplification factor)parameter under three kinds of different work condition. And it can be made out that the first rank inhere frequency is lessthan ] 0 HZ, TAF parameter is right basically and the structure of main drive-system is ideal. Then the structure parameter of main drive-system is adjustable if the length of the electromotor transmission shaft and gear reducer transmission shaft is increased and intension is reduced.The experiment proves that the model that this thesis sets up and simulation is right basically and the analytical conclusion is right. The curve of dynamic response can be used into practice and has some guidance meaning. The TAF parameter offers a credible academic opinion for the improving of main drive-system's structure.The paper is careful to investigate the wire rope reel and provides a structure and 3-D model of the wire rope reel. This paper is useful in reference to the progressive researches on the headstock gear and equipment.
