The action of rock blasting is a complex process, and the mechanism of rock blasting fragmentation is not commonly identified. The influence zone of damage rock by blasting is still a complex problem; it involves the detonation pressure acted in the borehole wall by blasting and interacting with rock, mechanical characteristics of rock, and theoretical model for calculation of rock damage by blasting.Regarding rock as the research object, and together with the research production of dynamic damage in rock by blasting, we analyzed further the dynamic damage model under explosive load through giving quantitative description of rock by using numerical simulation method. Have not considered the impact of gravity of rock in the numerical simulation to the characteristic of the rock under the existing explosion loads, but in the excavation of tunnel by blasting, the damage of gravity to the rock take heavy proportion and can't be ignored. We simulated the mechanics characteristic under the rock's own gravity and explosive load through ANSYS/LS-DYNA finite element software in this thesis. Utilizing ANSYS's strong implicit analyzing trait, we analyzed the damage of rock by gravity, and then turned into LS-DYNA module and analyzed the damage of rock under explosive load. Regarding nodal displacements of rock under the gravity in ANSYS as the initial condition of LS-DYNDA explicit analyzing, we analyzed the damage of rock worked by the two actions.
