Abstract/Summary:
Traction-Force-Distribution driving electric vehicle (EV) can greatly improve vehicle handing and stability. This paper makes research on signals decoding for the speed and position sensor, and also on bus-mastering in a dual-motor distributed driving EV. Resolver, as a position and speed sensor, is basically a rotating transformer. Decoding resolver signals is realized by resolver-to-digital conversion IC AD2S90, and it has been implemented in the PMSM controller of the distributed driving EV. TMS320F2812 DSP solution using oversampling and digital filter for obtaining resolver angular position and speed has been proposed in this paper. This solution eliminate the cost of the external RDC, change parameters conveniently and make a trade off among system hardware, time consuming and filter performance. Adopting CAN-Bus technique exchanges the torque and speed information between the Master and two PMSM controllers. Hardware and software of CAN communication are designed. The electric vehicle shows good performance in torque response. CAN-Bus satisfies the need of real-time and reliability in distributed driving EV, and it has perfect expansion ability.
