According to the ground test requirement of scramjet. kerosene heater is designed which is applicable for scramjet test. The design method of kerosene heater is also researched. The objective of designing heater is: mass How m-0.8~1.2kg/s, sustained pressure P=20atm, exit total pressure P*>10atm, exit total temperature T* = 1400~1800K, the rising time of temperature t<5s.The design of geometry size, the scheme design of flametube cooling,structure intensity check of shell and the design of adding oxygen are finished.Two kinds of one-dimensional design method arc used to calculate the mass How distribution of the flametube. The computational results show that the simply one-dimensional design method agrees well with the engineering design requirement. The three-dimensional exit flow field of heater mixing duct is simulated by CFD method. The simulating results indicate that the exit flow field of hrater is uniform. The results of three- dimensional numerical simulation method is compared with that of one-dimensional simply method. The compared results indicate that simply one-dimensional design method is applicable for the design of kerosene heater. The designed heater agrees with design objective. The proposed design method in thesis is valuable for kerosene heater design.
