The influence of electric current pulse on some alloy is that it can change the microstructure of the alloy. Such influence can be used to improve the characteristic of alloy's microstructure, avoid the crack of the alloy and accelerate the healing of the crack.The change of alloy's microstructure can be achieved in room or high temperature. In room temperature, the pulse needs thousands of voltages and more then ten thousand amperages, which needs prodigious and costly electric current pulse generator. But when temperature is 800-900℃, hundreds of amperages is adequate. The latter is that we should discuss.After experiment and analyze the data, we make sure the scheme of the electric current pulse generator: width 0.2ms, frequency l-50Hz, electric current peak value 100-1000A. The final project is a series circuit of load and resonant soft-switching which has the characteristic of soft-chopping. As the basal theory, we discuss the development of the theory of the resonant soft-switching.Electric current pulse generator include primary and control circuit. After introduce the configuration and principle of the primary circuit briefly, we discuss the control circuit in detail. Control circuit is composed of input circuit, F/V circuit, dividing circuit, pulse-modulation circuit, amplifier circuit and trigger transformer circuit. In addition, we also introduce the electrical source circuit, protector circuit and non-inductance resistance sampling circuit.We analyze the result of the experiment and find the lack of the scheme. The improved scheme is brought forward.
