Modeling, Substation Automation System Based On The Iec61850 Standard Data Model

IEC61850 is an international standard which is proposed by IEC TC57, for the seamless communication architecture in Substation Automation System (SAS). The aim of IEC61850 is to accomplish real interoperability of SAS, so as to reduce maintenance cost and so on.During the course of study, it is mainly focus on chapter 6 and 7. The article contains the following contents:Give an overview over the communication architecture of SAS in our country and analyze the background, basic ideas and the content of IEC61850 standard series;According to the data model described in IEC61850, the author proposes a scheme on how to realize the data model on special platform;In further research, the author put forward to design the SCL Configurator on the base of SQL Server 2000, which can provide function blocks to support XML format;It also describes how to exchange data model from relation database to real-time database, which will realize the real application of SAS;At last, consider that the final aim of our work team is to establish a whole conformance testing model system, the author point out what should be done next. What's more, this new standard will take large influence in SAS and there still have many technical problems to be solved.
