The main research content of this dissertation is laser phase-shiftranging technique used in the space rendezvous of spacecraft. Thedissertation is intended to design a phase-shift laser rangefinder forthe final approach moment(10m~1000m) of space rendezvous. The high speedmovement of object requires the rangefinder have fast ranging speed rate,and the space rendezvous requires high ranging precision. The keytechnique of high precision and fast speed ranging consists in highprecision and fast speed phase-detection. The conventionalphase-detection methods have difficulties in achieving high precisionranging and fast speed ranging at the same time. Then, it is very necessaryto have research in high precision and fast speed phase-detectiontechnique.Based on the laser radar ranging equation, the cooperative targetranging model and non-cooperative ranging model is established accordingto the condition of space and target. Then, the relationship betweenemission and receiving power in these two models is presented. The laserranging SNR equation is deduced based on the laser ranging noise theory.And these research provide theoretical basis for the scheme design andthe emulation experiment.The high precision and fast speed phase-detection theory andtechnique is lucubrated in this paper, and may have important referencedvalue. The digital synchronous demodulation phase-detection, one of thehigh precision and fast speed phase-detection methods, has superiorityin high SNR, has been emulated using MATLAB. The emulation experimentvalidate that it is feasible for this method, and the emulation experimentmay have some use for reference. This aspect research contains some newideas.According to the strict needs of the space rendezvous, we present animproved rangefinder design scheme based on the first scheme for the spacerendezvous.
