Power System Voltage Stability

The study of voltage stability of power system increasingly has been great attention recently. In this paper the authors summarize existing state of voltage stability. The essential requirements for power load modeling in voltage analysis are presented. Discussed the mechanism of voltage collapse in power systems from the electromagnetic angle of induction motor in low voltage condition, and put forward a stable criterion dQ_loss/dU which has hopeful on-line application onengineering.
