Capacitor Voltage Transformer Transients Beyond Research

Since the capacitor voltage transformer (CVT) has been used more and more widely in electric power system, it is very important to study the transition of CVT, analyze the effects of CVT on protection, and bring forward the solution.This paper mostly have completed these tasks: to got the Fourier transform of CVT's transient noise; to put forward the approach to eliminate the transient overreach of CVT and validate it; to study the relation between CVT's parameters and transient overreach.
