Based Instances Of Modular Product Variant Design And Realization

With the constantly deepening of economic globalization, the market competition is becoming much tense. In order to be more competitive, enterprises must quickly offer products with high quality, low cost and good service. Design is an important part in product lifecycle, which greatly determines the products' performance in level of both technology and economy. Variant design can fully utilize enterprises' design resources and experience to meet customers' requirements rapidly. This thesis combines the characteristic of textile machinery and introduces modular technology and CBR technology into variant design on the basis of recent studies of variant design, and proposes the variant design technique based on modular product case. The main research contents are as follows:1. The thesis researched on the general principle, design flow and technology system of the variant design technique based on modular product case, and pointed out its key technology.2. Under the guidance of modular design theory, the thesis studied the module partition method and principle of variant design. Taking fly frame as an example, it carried out the function decomposition and module partition.3. The thesis put forward the concept of the adaptable module, summarized the modeling steps, constructed the adaptable module model, and took draft implement module of fly frame as an example to explain.4. The modular product case model is founded, which is made up of configurable parameters, basic parameters, module components and BOM. The organizing method of product case is also researched.5. The thesis researched the obtaining method of customers' requirements, probed into the computing method of the similar degree of the modular product case, and provided the algorithm process of retrieving similar case. Through module replacement, modification or creation, the product variant design can be realized.6. On the research of variant design technique based on modular product case, the thesis developed the product conceptual design system of textile machinery -TMPDS, which provides enterprise a friendly, high-efficient product design platform.The variant design technique based on modular product case avoids the frequently module assembling of purely modular design, and resolves some difficult problems of CBR technology such as case representation, case organization, case getting and case modification etc, which makes it be more standardized and intelligent. Using TMPDS platform to carry on the product design will improve the speed and quality of product design, reduce the product cost, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprise's market.
