| Thermostatic valve is a new-type valve of controlling fluid temperature, which controls opening/closing or the size of opening of valve by temperature-sensing medium's expansive strength with temperature varying and regulates the flux of cool and hot fluid entering the valve to control exporting temperature of fluid. Thermostatic valve, with simple structure , low price , reliable operation , unwanted dynamic force and high automatization, is widely applied in temperature controlling of various kinds of heat exchange equipment including the civil equipment such as heating and hot water supply , spaceship and aviation, electricity, energy power, metallurgy, ship products ,etc.The thesis, firstly ,discusses mainly principle and the extensive market prospects of the thermostatic valve, makes the thermostatic valve comparison with other temperature regulators on thermodynamics principle, summaries superior characteristic of the thermostatic valve as well. Secondly, in order to research and develop thermostatic valve deeply, the testing laboratory bench of thermostatic valve is designed and made according to the ideas of modern design in this thesis. At the same time, testing and data collecting system are made up by sensor , intelligent instrument, data collector , the computer and configuration software. In addition, plenty of experiment on three-way thermostatic valve of cooling system of lube oil in dynamical machines has been done on this laboratory bench, including the capacity of controlling temperature, the testing of fluid local resistance, seal of valve flow passage and hysteresis. Finally, uncertainty of main testing parameter in experiment has been evaluated and an intact experiment conclusion has been drawn. This thesis will increase scientific knowledge to principle of thermostatic valve, besides providing the experimental basis for the developing and research of Thermostatic valve. |
