Infrared Imaging Guidance is a homing method that using the image produced by different radiation of heat between target and background. That is a very important and anti-jamming homing system. Now, it has been a mostly develop way of precise guidance weapon. The develop trend of image guidance are large visual field and high acuity and real-time process simultaneously. This will increase the process data greatly and make real-time process difficult. By the research of human eyes, we found the space-variant vision of human eyes have the ability to obtain vision information and process it efficiently, it make human eyes have high acuity on gaze point and low acuity on circumjacent area. It provides an important method to resolve the problem among large visual field and high acuity and real-time process.The study of heterogeneous mapping algorithm based on the human eyes space-variant system. According to the "one-one mapping ring" and mapping direction we classify the mapping transformation into two sorts: forward algorithm and reverse algorithm. Based on the general rules of constructing this mapping model linear model and arctangent model are studied and verified. The research of retina-like sensor is explained and the strategies of realizing rapid transformation are studied. Based on Log-Polar image, there are three algorithms: one-dimension projection statistic match, double edge information match and two-dimension Log-Polar image match. According to the invariant property of LPT, which the rotation and scaling of the input signal are transformed into translations that can be easily detected and compensated. Through the experiment of the three methods, we affirmed the distinguish precision of it is satisfaction.
