The congested traffic has become a serious problem for many cities with their steadily increasing population, and the construction of subways is viewed as an effective solution to the problem. Both the domestic and foreign experts have done a lot work concerning the displacement and deform of the earth's surface caused by tunnels. They adopted plane and three dimension methods, and have made some achievement in theoretic analysis and FEM simulation. The author uses the three dimension to analyze how to construct a subway in the loess area and the deformable features of the subway's structure and the surrounding Loess when it goes under dense group of buildings. The author attaches great importance to the relative displacement and the cross deformable features between the structure of subways and the surrounding soils in the condition of equal load and differential equal load, soaked and unsoaked, different capacity of containing water. The result and the conclusion of this article can be very helpful for us in two aspects. First of all, they help us to solve the problem of constructing a subway in the loess area, such as how to make a subway go under densely built areas and how to maintain the structure of subways stable afterwards; In addition, they also make some helpful additions to the theories regarding the maintenance of subways' structure in some special soils.
