The power plants of the China Potroleum and Chemical Corporation are steam andgenerating units in centralizing pipe form on the whole whose operation form and control wayare different with Unit generating units .Moreover,the automation control level of thesegenerating units is lower than one of Unit generating units .In more steam and power plant someimportant parameters such as main steam temperature, centralizing pipe steam pressur and so oncan't have be controlled automatically for a long time because some problems which aredisadvantage of secure,steady and economical operation of generating units. As to the typical thermal process of the China Potroleum and Chemical CorporationYangzi Steam and power plant, the paper illustrated the difficulties in implementing automaticcontrol.As to these problems the paper designed advanced control systems which can settle theseproblems based on some advanced control theories.Then,these advanced control systems wereapplied to the locale.The contents of the paper include 3 parts:First,the optimization contol for main steam 's and first stage steam's temperature on the boiler.Studying the difficulties incontrolling steam temperature of the 50WM or lower generating units. Putting forward efficientcontrol strategies based on state variable and phase compensate technology.Moreover,applyingadjustor parameter fuzzy self-tunning technology in order to adapting the chang of the boiler'sload.Second, centralizing pipe steam pressure control based on direct energy balance and Smithpredictor. Studying the difficulties in controlling centralizing pipe steam pressure. Puttingforward efficient control strategies based on direct energy balance and Smith predictor.Finally,adaptive fuzzy control for the bin System with tube mill. Putting forward efficient control strategiesof some important parameters in the bin System with tube mill.Moreover,illustrate how to reducepower costs by optimization contol. The paper's contents integrate with practical science study items.It's purpose is to sovlesome difficult problems in the way of thermal process control about little centralizing pipe unitsand improve industries' automation control level. Above all contol strategies were applied tocentralizing pipe units of Yangzi thermal and power plant and passed the test of practicaloperation.It's excellent control qualities and created economic benefits were praised by users .It's study fruits keep ahead in our country.
