| At present, the railway transportation is in fast developing period in our country. The internal.combustion engine locomotive is still playing very important part in railway transportation. So the dynamic capability and reliability should be improved and at the same time how to reduce consumption of fuel and improve economical property is an urgent task.Reducing consumption of fuel is as the starting discussing point in this thesis and the emphasis is how to improve the performance of locomotive.type diesel engine with part load. The idea of sequential turbocharging technology which can improve the performance of locomotive.type diesel engine with part load is brought forward. The characters and development of exhaust gas turbo technology is chiefly discussed and pointing out that the serious limitation of performance of locomotive.type diesel engine with part load. The theory of applying of sequential turbocharging technology to remold traditional sequential turbo which can carry out improving the performance of diesel engine with part load is particularly expatiated. Put forward the idea of sequential turbocharging technology improving the performance of locomotive.type diesel engine with part load and basing on this isea the flowing works have been done:1. Point out two degrees sequential turbocharging program that 16v240ZJ diesel engine of DF4 locomotive is as a studying object aiming at the present situation of our contry internal.combustion engine locomotive.2. The simulating experiment of program of 16V240ZJ two level sequential turbocharging diesel engines is made. The result of eoperiment indicates that the rate of consumption of fuel is reduced apparently in 500~850 rpm and the average reducing extent is more than 10g/kW.h. This result sufficiently illuminates that the applying of sequential turbocharging technology to remold traditional sequential turbo is feasible. The potential of reducing consumption of fuel internal.combustion engine locomotive is large.3.Adopt economical, practical and dependable theory to design the controlling drain taps and the controlling enter gap in sequential turbocharging system basing on simulating experiment.4. The program of multilevel sequential turbocharging is brought forward to increase the numbers of adjustment and improve the effects of the performance of diesel engine with part load. |
